Knowledge Audits

Knowledgeaduit When starting a key piece of research, we believe there are important exercises to undertake in the set-up and scoping phase.

The quality and practical use of insights generated are not just dependent on the quality of the research itself, but also on the input of relevant knowledge from within the full breadth of your company, and also from external experts.

Our Knowledge Audits are made up of three activities:

  1. Stakeholder interviews with your key stakeholders, sponsors and influencers, to understand their roles, get buy-in for the research and discover exactly how the results can best be used to lead to action in their business areas.
  2. Knowledge review, pulling together all the relevant information and knowledge from within your company and our own GfK knowledge banks, summarising gaps and opportunities for the research
  3. Kick off workshop with key day-to-day stakeholders, to embed knowledge gained and agree the best way forward.

The benefits of this approach:

  • harness the breadth of experience and skills
  • get buy-in & involvement from the broader team
  • take a hypothesis driven approach, starting with the end objective in mind
  • keep the business and strategic goals at the forefront
  • understand what is known and where the gaps are
  • deliver actionable insight that fits the needs of the business
