Taking an ‘Emerging Technologies’ perspective

Generic 10 Why have we taken an Emerging Technologies perspective on our services? Shouldn’t technology be developed from business needs and research methods, rather than being pre-selected?

As early as 2009 our ever-increasing wonder at the number and range of technologies competing for our attention led us to sort these into sensible categories and to compare them to our clients’ needs and priorities.

The result was our Emerging Technologies Project, which investigated brand new devices, market research adaptation of existing technology and even second generation refinements to these – and led to the catalogue of offerings and projects that you see here.

This exercise prompted us to think innovatively about our existing business, our plans for development and our take on the industry Big Themes. We think it can do the same for you too.

Our Thinking

Generic 10 "Web 2.0" thinking is not dead, accepting the power shift towards consumers is still the best way to foster good Participant Interaction.
