Connected Devices

Consumers are increasingly using multiple devices to access the internet. Smartphone ownership continues to grow and is becoming a complementary platform for digital services alongside traditional fixed PCs. In some instances and for growing proportion of purchases, smartphones are the leading digital device.

GfK ConnectedLIfe.dx is a global study launched to measure cross device usage. We are building panels of smartphone owners across four major markets: UK, US, China and Germany. By combining online mobile and PC behavioural data with attitudinal metrics, GfK can provide powerful insights that will help businesses optimise:

  • user experience by understanding mobile device usage alongside with PC base online usage
  • usage of applications, devices or network facilities on smartphones
  • marketing strategies by leveraging mobile and fixed web usage insights
  • cross  device online presence
